Short Biography

Dr. De La Haye is former Chief Medical Officer of Jamaica’s Ministry of Health & Wellness, a Founding Member and Chairman of the Caribbean Psychedelics Association, and Consultant Psychiatrist at the University Hospital of the West Indies.

Dr. De La Haye earned his MD at Pécs Medical Teaching University (POTE), Pécs, Hungary.  He was a Fulbright Fellow, in Substance Abuse at Johns Hopkins University, and holds a Masters of Public Health (MPH), Mental Health and Substance Abuse from Johns Hopkins University.

Prior to receiving a DM in Postgraduate Psychiatry, General Psychiatry, Dr. De La Haye received his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from The University of the West Indies.
